Obituary for Nick Watson

Nickolas Wayne Watson, age 67, of Dover, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015, at his home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Phillips to officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home. A masonic service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born September 13, 1947 in Calloway County, KY, son of the late Grady Sills and Dorothy Nell Crutcher Watson. Nick served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and Iron Mountain Masonic Lodge #544. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Kathy Watson, son, James Nicholas Watson, daughter, Krystal Dawn Hewitt, brother, Randy Lynn Watson, sister, Beverly Jane Cottrell, grandchildren, Brice and Brianna Shupe, James Watson, Jr., Austin, Kaylee, Connor, and Tucker Bickford, and Cole and Lily Norfleet.
Pallbearers will be Terry Austin, Hoyt Couch, John Lane, Randy Peterson, Charles Williams, Jeff Hancock, Larry Fitzhugh, and Mike Gray. His grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 773 Frank Earhart Rd. Dover, TN 37058
