Leroy “Bo” Shepherd, 81 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1936 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Lucian and Marie Austin Shepherd. Mr. Shepherd was a retired butcher and farmer, U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Junior Shepherd and Teddy Shepherd. Survivors include his wife, Diane Atkins Shepherd, Indian Mound, TN, daughter, Connie Fleming (John), Mobile, AL, stepson, Jason Britt (Dawn), Clarksville, TN, brother, Daniel Shepherd, Clarksville, TN, and grandchildren, Maria Vais, Laura Vais, Jaycee Britt and Ashton Britt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Garrette Milliken and Bro. Melvin Dunaway officiating and eulogy by Wayne Jackson. Burial will follow in the Smith, Austin and Wallace Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 5-8:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 10:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Chuck Gant, Troy Shepherd, Dan Shepherd, Brian Mullins, Jody Mann and Barry Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Vais, Kevin Austin, Scotty Shepherd, Bill Givens and Chris Lewis.
