Obituary for James Lehman

James  Lehman
James William Lehman, age 94 of Franklin, TN, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at his home. He was born November 30, 1921 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Herbert and Ethel Adams Lehman. Mr. Lehman was a retired electronic engineer for Martin Marietta where he helped design guidance systems. He attended Wyatt Chapel United Methodist Church, owned and operated the first TV and Radio repair in Ft. Campbell, KY. Mr. Lehman was a U.S. Army Air Force WWII Veteran serving as a radio operator aboard a bomber and was awarded two Purple Hearts.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Carlene Lehman, sons, James Daniel Lehman and Randy Glenn Lehman, daughter, Patricia Ann Lehman, brother, Blue Lehman, and sister, Estelle Barr. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Coffee Lehman, Franklin, TN, son, Ryman Lee Lehman (Patricia Mayfield Lehman), Orlando, FL, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating, burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
