Obituary for Roy Lee Byrd

Roy Lee Byrd, 87 of Dover, TN passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Henry Co. Medical Center. He was born January 15, 1929 in Mobley, TN son of the late Willie and Ella Sexton Byrd. Mr. Byrd was retired mechanic and a U.S. Air Force veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Miller Byrd and brothers, J.D. Byrd and Alfred Byrd. Survivors include his daughters, Toni Nelson, Dover, TN, June Allen, Kenosha, WI, grandchildren, Elysia Johnson(Mickey), Kendra Allen, Matthew Allen, Cory Gene Nelson (Amy Webb) and great grandchildren, Nick, Isaiah, Keri Ann, Mickey, Fiona Lee, Wyatt and Weston.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Garrette Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Cory Nelson, Mickey Johnson, Deryk Wyatt, John Wyatt, Jimmy Barrow and Kyle Webb. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
