Margaret Louise Swift, age 87, of Dover, TN, passed away, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. She was born, June 15, 1928, daughter of the late Tillison McNichols and Ollie Mae Taylor Lopinot. Mrs. Swift was a lifetime member and pianist at the Bumpus Mills United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Johnny McNichols, Tom Taylor, and Betty Hoffman.
Mrs. Swift is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, William Edward Swift, children, Dale Swift (Rita), Jerry Swift (Terry), Keith Swift (Kim), Lisa Bevier (Dennis), grandchildren, Dana Earhart (Derek), Holli Dill (Donnie), Jeff Swift (Kim), Missy Thomas (Mike), Tracy Swift, David Swift (Chelsea), Jonathan Swift, Nathan Swift, Landon Bevier, Loren Bevier, great grandchildren, Whitni Kriwox (Jesse), Ryan Earhart, Cole Earhart, Carlee Dill, Carissa Dill, Jordon Burkhart (Zach), Emily Swift, Tristan Swift, Haley Kennedy (Matt), Killian Swift, Shiloh Swift, and great-great grandchildren, Dawson Earhart and Ansley Kennedy.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Bumpus Mills United Methodist Church with Rev. Jacqueline Martin and Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the time of service Tuesday at the Bumpus Mills United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
