Badger Hart Carney, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 5-8:00 pm and on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born December 31, 1932 in Nashville, TN son of the late Leslie Washington and Izona Gardner Carney. Mr. Carney was retired U.S. Army and retired from the postal service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Patricia and Pamela, sister, Agnes Cotter and brother, W. Doug Carney. Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Kantner Carney, Dover, TN, daughters, Wanda Howell, Saratoga Springs, NY, Cindy Minton, Clarksville, TN, Pamela Smout, Clarksville, TN, sister, Delores Texeira, Whites Creek, TN, brother, L.W. Carney, Nashville, TN, step son, John Winn, Hickory, KY, step daughter, Karen Gibson, Gilbertsville, KY, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family will serve as pallbearers.
