Obituary for Virginia Clark (Clark)
Virginia Clark, 90 of Bumpus Mills, TN passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ with Bro. Johnny Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ.
She was born August 21, 1925 in Bumpus Mills, TN daughter of the late Wayne and Ida Hargis Clark. Ms. Clark was a retired teacher of forty years, teaching ten years in Stewart Co., TN and thirty years in Montgomery Co., TN. She was a member of the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ and taught bible classes for thirty years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Hargis F. Clark, Horace W. Clark and sister, Birdie Wallace. Survivors include her brother, Sidney D. Clark, Bumpus Mills, TN, sisters, Eva Byrd (Bill), Oak Ridge, TN, Alene Johnson, Bushnell, FL, nephews, Jerry Clark, Barry Byrd, David Carl Wallace, Dan Wallace and nieces, Suzanne Byrd and Debbie Patterson. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
