Obituary for Peggy Ann Butterworth (Harper)

Peggy Ann Butterworth, 63 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Casey Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 5-8:00 pm and on Thursday, August 6, 2015from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home.
She was born February 15, 1952 in Indian Mound, TN daughter of the late Nathan “Cedar” and Emma D. Champion Harper. Peggy was a cook for the Bumpus Meals Diner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Joe Chisenhall and Nathan “Tootie” Harper. Survivors include her son, Clarence Butterworth (Cathy), Lewistown, MT, daughters, Maria Atkins (Mike), Dover, TN, Christy Rouse, Munford, AL, sister, Carol Shepherd, Indian Mound, TN, Lynn Harper, Paris, TN, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shepherd, Josh Lill, Mike Atkins, Tanner Fitzhugh, Mike Lee and Mike Futrell.
