Emma Frances Black, 78 of Dover, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Moore Cemetery with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5-8:00 pm and on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 9-9:30 am at Anglin Funeral Home.
She was born September 11, 1936 in Dover, TN daughter of the late Rev. A.K. Mitzel and Irene Odom Mitzel. Mrs. Black was a homemaker, a wonderful and feisty mother and a Christian. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Black, Sr., four brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son, Chester Black, Jr.(Lora Ann), Dover, TN, daughters, Rita Meier (Ron), Dover, TN, Melissa Burton (Bill), Dover, TN, Mary Hunter, Dover, TN, Faith Wallace, Dover, TN, Amanda Robinson (Eric), Clanton, AL, brother, Jim Mitzel, Paris, TN, sisters, Annie Adair, Clarksville, TN, Elsie Whitehead, Big Rock, TN, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will Joshua Meier, Lance Warfield, James Wallace, Shelby Black, Tabitha Bates, Katie Brown, Mary Frances Wallace and Taylor Outlaw.
