James Theo  Clements
James Theo “Chick” Clements, age 90, of Cumberland City, TN, passed away, Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. Artist Waynick to officiate. Burial will be in the Clements Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday, February 28. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
He was born December 13, 1924 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Glenn and Estelle Nolen Clements. Mr. Clements was a US Navy WWII Veteran. He retired from Bemis in St. Louis, MO, before moving to Tennessee, where he retired from TVA, and was a farmer. He attended Scott’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Zella Mina Hays Clements, son, Philip Clements, and sister, Mary Lee Pulley.
Survivors include his son, Jesse Clements, Granite City, IL, sister, Betty Sleigh, Covina, CA, five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
