Gorman Kenneth Lawson, age 79, of Dover, TN passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the VA Hospital, Nashville, TN. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 12:00 pm until the time of service Monday at Anglin Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday.
He was born October 19, 1934 in Kentucky, son of Fayette and Mary Dee Siler Lawson. Mr. Lawson was a retired US Army Master Sergeant. He served two tours in Vietnam and was a member of the Iron Mountain Masonic Lodge #544.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lawson, a brother and a sister.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Lawson, Clarksville, TN, Sandra Clark, FL, Bobby C. Lawson, Mesa AZ, David Lawson, Dover, TN, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.
