William Threatt

Mr. William “Cotton” Dennison Threatt, age 66, of Big Rock, TN, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at his home with family at his side. He was born July 20, 1951 in Stewart County, TN son of Willie and Myrtrice Shepherd Threatt. Mr. Threatt retired from Trane, and served in the US Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Wortham Threatt, son, Dennis Threatt- Dover, TN, daughter, Kelley Adkins (Mike) - Hayes, VA, step son, Doug Stafford Senatobia, MS, step daughter, Tina Henry (Ira) - Senatobia, MS, brother, Jimmie Threatt (Carolyn) - Indian Mound, TN, sister, Margie Williams (Arthur) - Big Rock, TN, nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, TN with Brian Gelande officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of service on Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Threatt, Drew Stafford, Brandon Henry, Doug Stafford, Ira Henry, and Ricky York.
At Cotton’s request, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Nashville Hope Lodge/ American Cancer Society, 2008 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN 37203. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
