William Kirkland

William George Kirkland, 86, Indian Mound, TN passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Signature Healthcare, Erin, TN. Graveside services will be on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Kirkland Cemetery with Bro. Robert Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born April 14, 1926 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late William and Mary Musser Kirkland. Mr. Kirkland was a farmer and a Baptist. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Donald Kirkland. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Susie Durham Kirkland; son, Gary Kirkland, Indian Mound, TN; daughters, Joyce Grizzard (Ricky) and Sandra Carter, both of Indian Mound, TN; brother, Charles Kirkland, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Mavis Herrera (George), Clarksville, TN, Glenda Williams, LA; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Derek Summers, Ricky Kirkland, Donnie Kirkland, Coty Gillum, David Dover, Steve Sivis and Doug Porter.
