Billy Gruwell

Billy Gruwell, age 55 of Dover, Tennessee, passed away on June 1, 2026, at Henry County Medical Center. Born in Granite City, Illinois, Billy was the beloved son of Albert Lee Gruwell and Gail Diane Joyce Gruwell.

Billy was a passionate motorcycle racing enthusiast who enjoyed repairing, rebuilding, and experiencing the thrill of racing motorcycles. He possessed extensive knowledge of many motorcycle brands and welcomed the challenge of diagnosing and completing repairs. Billy never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His kindness and generosity often turned acquaintances into lifelong friends. Billy was the owner and operator of Titan Exhaust. He loved his work and poured his heart into making each day meaningful and productive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Diane Gruwell and his brother, Bob Gruwell.

Billy leaves behind his loving family: his father, Albert Lee Gruwell, and stepmother, Beverly Whipple; his sister, Mary Thurman (James); his sister-in-law, Donna Gruwell; and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The memory of Billy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him 

In keeping with Billy's wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Anglin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Whitford Cemetery. Date and time to be announced.
