William Earl Tyson

Mr. William Earl Tyson, age 70, of Indian Mound, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, August 23, at Anglin Funeral Home, burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 10 am until the time of service Saturday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
He was born September 27, 1943 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Govenor Noel and Mary Bessie Hoskins Tyson. Mr. Tyson worked as real estate developer and home construction. He was a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church, St. Louis, MO.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Frank Tyson, Kenneth Tyson and sister, Betty Keel. Survivors include his wife, Lena Wagner Tyson, sons, Noel Tyson, Indian Mound, Terry Tyson, Canton, OH, brothers, James Tyson, Indian Mound, Billy Tyson, Indian Mound, sisters, Earleen Atkins, St. Louis, MO, Mary Schmitt, St. Louis, MO, Barb Joice, St. Louis, MO, grandchildren, Lee Ann Tyson, Alyssa Lynn Tyson, and several nieces and nephews.
