William Bazar

William Robert ‘Buzz’ Bazar, III, age 77, of Dover, TN, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Tennessee State Veterans Home, Clarksville, TN. He was born March 26, 1940 in Charleston, SC, son of the late William R. Bazar, Jr. and Alice Allien Reeder Bazar. Mr. Bazar served 27 years in the US Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He later retired from Ft. Donelson National Battlefield Park where he worked 17 years as a park ranger.
Mr. Bazar is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Julia Smith Bazar, sons, Willian L. ‘Bubba’ Bazar, Springville, TN, Brian Bazar, Madison, WV, sisters, Cheryl McDonald, Dover, TN, Elaine Richter, James Island, SC, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 3, at the Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, at the Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY, with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 2, at Anglin Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the time of service Wednesday. Military will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
