Wesley Robson

October 5, 1945 — April 25, 2025

Wesley Robson, age 79, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away on April 25, 2025. He was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, to the late Warren and Helen Robson (Hock).
Wesley enlisted in the United States Army after graduating from high school. He served in Vietnam Nam, three tour in Germany, as well as various bases in the USA. He proudly served his country for 20 years. After his military retirement he work three part time jobs, attended Austin Peay State University, while building our house in Indian Mound. He worked as a Radiology Technician at Memorial Hospital. He worked for twenty plus years at Memorial and Tennova Hospitals. Wesley found great joy in woodworking, reading and tending his small farm. He was known as, “The man who wears shorts in the winter”.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret A. Robson of fifty-nine years. His children, Dawn M. Barfield (Richard) and Chad E. Robson (Jamie). Siblings Mike Robson (Jackie), Doug Robson (Betty deceased) and his sisters, Becky Akes (David deceased) and Kelly Westbrook (Earl deceased). Dorman (Robbie) Robinson a military friend of fifty-three years. Mark E. Fahnert, son- in- law.
Wesley was also a proud and loving grandfather to his six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He loved doing Wordle with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He got his love of puzzles from his beloved mother. The grandchildren and great grandchildren expressed their thoughts below: “Loving husband, father and grandfather. A man full of wit and jokes. My papa was both a fierce protector and a selfless man, always there when we needed him. He was the man that raised me and I am all the better for it”.

“To the man who hung our moon, you’ll never be forgotten and your love will carry on in the lives of all of us grandkids and great grandkids. You were everyone’s Papa, and a constant in all of our lives, we love you and will forever miss you”.
