Wanda Taylor Stinson, age 81 of Dover, passed away November 3, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born September 8, 1934 in Cumberland City, TN, daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Brooks. Wanda worked many years at Jenkins & Wynn, and the Children’s Clinic. She enjoyed traveling, watching her many, many hummingbirds, volunteering at church, and family dinners.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, Hugh E. "Jack" Taylor, Jr.
Survivors include her second husband of ten years, John Archie Stinson of Dover; daughter, Pam (Richard) Bryant, Clarksville; sons, Kenny (Beverly) Taylor, Clarksville, Danny Taylor, Clarksville; brother, Randy (Patti) Brooks, Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Jamie) Webb, Clarksville, Jonathan (Alda) Bryant, Clarksville, Jarred (Shelby) Bryant, Ashland City, Cole (Courtney) Taylor, Clarksville, Bradley (Kourtnee) Taylor, Clarksville, Mary Katherine Taylor, Clarksville, Dannie Sue Taylor, Clarksville, and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Anglin Funeral Home, with Pastor Adam Janes officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Cunningham, TN.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, at Anglin Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bryant, Jarred Bryant, Cole Taylor, Bradley Taylor, Jamie Webb and Parker Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Dover Food Ministry.
