Wanda Taylor

Wanda Louise Taylor, age 61 of Tennessee Ridge, TN passed away May 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 20, 1960 the daughter of the late James Sonny and Norma Steele Compton. She was a graduate of Stewart County High School Class of 1979. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Ricky Taylor and father, James Sonny Compton.

She is survived by her loving children, son, Chuck Taylor of Tennessee Ridge, TN; daughter, Chassity Taylor of Erin, TN; mother, Norma Steele Compton of Dover, TN; grandchildren, Taylor Manners, Haley Manners, Kensley Taylor, Lynsley Taylor, Riley Taylor, and great grandchild, Roman Manners; brother, James Compton (Darla) of Dover, TN, sister, Barbara Smith (Steve) of Dover, TN; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dover, TN with Bro. William Gray officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
