Wanda Carotenuto

Wanda Carotenuto, age 82, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on May 20, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 16, 1943, the beloved daughter of Henry and Beulah Moore Mayle.

Wanda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved her family with all her heart. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughters at the "Old Ladies Sandwich Shop," visiting with customers and sharing stories and local news around Dover. In her pastime, she enjoyed crocheting and gifted many of her beautiful handmade creations to family and friends. Wanda also enjoyed trips with family and friends to the local casino. She was truly a people person who treasured the special memories she made with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her soulmate of 32 years, Richard Mark Carotenuto; and her siblings, Floyd Mayle, Maxine Eagle, Harry Mayle, Twila Cooper, and Lela Albright.

She leaves behind her children, Diane Sypolt, Timothy Carotenuto, Candy Teter (David), and Cathy Teter (Donnie); her grandchildren, Charles Lee, Timothy Sypolt, Matthew Teter, William Teter, Michael Teter, and Joey Carotenuto; as well as 16 great-grandchildren

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Bro. Shane Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Green Cemetery, with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
