Walton Tippit

Mr. Allan Tippit, age 73, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at his home. He was born August 14, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late Willis Tippit and Mildred Tippit Colbert. Mr. Tippit is a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. He retired from Ft. Campbell Civil Service and worked in construction. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Tippit and Bernie Tippit. He is survived by his beloved wife, Glenda Keeton Tippit, son, Mike Tippit (Nina), Big Rock, TN, daughters, Veronica Gnade (Mike), Clinton, MS, Angie Colon (Tony), Dover, TN, Jennifer Harrison (Stoney), Indian Mound, TN, Carrie Clinard (Jamie), Dover, TN, brother, Billy Joe Tippit, OR, sisters, Rita Gifford, MO, Norma Rogers, MO, Diane Suddarth, MO, grandchildren, Stefanie Jefcoat, Tyler Gnade, Keith Ellis, Cody Colon, Garret Harrison, Brandon Harrison, Lexi Harrison, Tyson Tippit, Kyler Tippit, Teagan Tippit, Lexi Vicars, Jackson Tippit, Kaylee Murray, Caleb Murray, Luke Murray, Ireland Clinard, Erin Clinard, Paislee Clinard, and Ellee Clinard, great grandchildren, Colton Cruz Jefcoat, Jersey Cate Jefcoat, Blair Morgan Gnade, and Cruz Anthony Allan Colon.
Mr. Tippit will be laid to rest at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. James Wyatt officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be Tony Colon, Cody Colon, Tyson Tippit, Kyler Tippit, Garret Harrison, Brandon Harrison, Stoney Harrison, and Jamie Clinard. Keith Ellis will serve as honorary pallbearer.
