Walter T. McCoy, Jr., 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at St. Thomas-West, Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 12-2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born December 18, 1931 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Walter T. McCoy, Sr. and Maggie Blyth McCoy. Mr. McCoy was the pastor at Calvary Baptist Church, Paris, TN. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Hooks McCoy, sons, Ron McCoy, Studio City, CA, Bob McCoy, Buchanan, TN, sister, Thelma Culpepper, Houston Co., TN, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 285 Whiskey Ridge Rd., Paris, TN, 38242.
