Walter Killius

Mr. Walter “Pete” Killius, Sr., age 82 passed away on January 25, 2025 at Henry County Hospital, Paris, TN. He was born on January 14, 1943 the son of the late Carl and Arletta Kinslow Killius in Olmstead, IL.

Pete as he was kindly known as, enjoyed nature and the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved gardening and taking care of his yard. He loved all children as his own. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His legacy of kindness and devotion to his loved ones will live on in their memories.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Killius; son, Timmy Killius and great grandchildren; Devin Sullivan and Brian Killius.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Dianne Killius; son, Walter “PeeWee’ Killius, Jr.; daughters, Laura Shepherd, Carol Bryant (Pedro), Nena Harris (Richard); sisters, Louise Holly and Mary Ann Westerman (Clifford); brothers; Gordon Killius (Barbara) and Wayne Killius (Ruth); honorary brothers; Buddy Dean and Tim Burns; grandchildren; Dustin (Roslyn), Brandi, Michael (Andrea), DeDi, Josh (Jessica), Abby, Zach, Brian and Eric; honorary grandchildren; Noah, Jed, Joe and Marz; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Friday, January 31, 2025. Memorial visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and continue until the memorial service at 1:00 pm with Bro Earl Kinslow officiating.
