Virginia Frances Wofford, 90, Dover, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Anglin Funeral Home with Larry Craig and Carl Newberry officiating. Burial will be in Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 17, 1919 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Samuel S. and Ica Dora Oliver Gafford. She was a Methodist and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Wofford. Survivors include her children, Bertie Knott, Dover, and Betty Gibbs, Dover, grandchildren, Terry Knott, Kerry Knott, Waylon Knott, Penny Cliburn, Jacqueline Weaver, Michelle Allen, JoAnn Hicks, Bronson Gibbs, and great grandchildren, Amy Decker, Kayla Weaver, and Adam Hicks. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
