Virgil Lyon

Virgil Austin Lyon, 83 of Big Rock, TN passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Henry Co. Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with James Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery, Murray, KY. Visitation will be on held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5-7:00 pm and on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born August 3, 1931 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Ray and Robbie Mathis Lyon. Mr. Lyon was a carpenter and a member of the Taylor's Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Young. Survivors include his sister, Nelda Lyon Crockarell, Big Rock, TN, brother, J.C. Lyon, Dover, TN, and several nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be James Loeffler, Albert Gaboriault, James Gaboriault, Tim Sills, Samuel Mills, Jimmy Lyon, John Polarek and Justin Morgan.
