Violet Wallace

Mrs. Violet Ray Wallace, age 81, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away on March 31, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. She was born on December 21, 1944, to the late Ray Daniel and Ruby Dale Odom Hicks.

Violet was known for her love of visiting and talking with family and friends. She was plain spoken, always telling it like it was, and had a warm, genuine spirit that drew people to her. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Violet cherished her family deeply and treated neighbors and friends as if they were her own.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Dallas Wallace, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage.

She is survived by her beloved children, daughter Jennifer Newberry (Rick Gipson) and son Jeff Wallace, as well as her cherished grandson, Joe Newberry.

A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in Dover, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be Russ Keatts, Jerry Largent, Randy Compton, Jeff Smith, Joe Newberry, and Dennis Campbell.
