Veronica Jenkins

Veronica Jenkins, 85 of Taylor, MS passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Diversicare of Dover. She was born February 28, 1931 in Buda, IL daughter of the late Arvid and Louise Walsh Swanson. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker, a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a member of the VFW. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Dale Jenkins and sons, Donald Jenkins, John Jenkins, and Andrew Jenkins. Survivors include her sons, Bradley Jenkins (Cathy), Taylor, MS, Robert Jenkins, Dover, TN, daughter, Doris Konow, Lockport, IL, brother, Paul Zuniga (Sharon), Charleston, IL, sisters, Phyllis Gonzalez, San Antonio, TX, Dorthea Rose, New Jersey, 14 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Dunaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 11:00 am until the hour of service. Family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
