Vernon Wyatt

Vernon Ray Wyatt, 80 of Tennessee Ridge, TN passed away on June 11, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Robert Spurgeon and Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery, Stewart, TN. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 4-8:00 pm, Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 2-8:00 pm and on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
He was born March 28, 1934 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Dalton Ray and Delores Barnes Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Ross Wyatt and brother, Lindon Wyatt. Survivors include his daughters, Laura Groves (Butch), Tenn. Ridge, TN and Amanda Davis, Cumberland City, TN, brothers, Bud Wyatt, Stewart, TN, Rabon Wyatt, IL, sisters, Naomi Bradley, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Melvina Baker, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Ruth Brody, Cheyanne, WY, Kathy Rippy, GA, grandson, Michael Groves, Tenn. Ridge, TN and great grandchild, Ali Mariee Groves, Tenn. Ridge, TN. Pallbearers will be Josh Davis, Bo Dennis, Stony Odom, Charles Harvey, Jr. Graves, Herb Ellis, Eldon Smith, Stevie Wyatt, Ernest Pulley, Augustine Guerrero, Matt Hylemon, Tim Shockley and Daylon Shockley.
