Velma Wallace

Mrs. Velma Wallace, age 87, of Benton,Ky, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, in Benton. Mrs. Wallace was born, March 28, 1924, in Stewart County,Tn the daughter of the late Elmo and Grace Young. She was married to Mr. R.E. Wallace, who preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Anglin funeral home, with Bro. Haynes Wilson officiating.Burial will follow in the Green Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time. She leaves four sons, Hughie Wallace, Freddie Wallace and Tim Wallace all of Benton,Ky., and Blane Wallace of Murray,Ky. One daughter, Elane Gibson of Benton,Ky., and a brother, Bobby Young of Granite City,Il, 17 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She had attended the Nazarene church. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Douglas Wallace and a daughter, Wanda Sue Elliott, as well as five siblings.
