Timothy Atkins

Mr. Timothy Scott Atkins, age 55, of Dover, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at his home. He was born October 11, 1964 in Paris, TN, son of the late Dalton Lee Atkins and Hazel Ruth Whitehead Atkins. Tim loved spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant sister, Donna Atkins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Toni Atkins, brothers, Mike Atkins (Maria) and Steve Atkins, both of Dover, sisters, Bonnie Hutchinson (Joe), Dover, Debbie Melton (Ron), McEwen, TN and Sandy Stinson, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Willie Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the Roper Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Braylon Gillespie, Mike Carman, James Whitehead, Charlie Outlaw, Keaton Weber, Willie Cole, Craig Howell, and Joe Hutchinson. Dave Hanson will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Memorial contributions may be to the Stewart County Humane Society.
