Thomas Buck Joiner, 79, Big Rock, TN, died Saturday, November 27, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Morris Lee officiating. Burial will be in Heflin Joiner Cemetery, Big Rock. Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home at Anglin Funeral Home.
A Eastern Star Service will be held 7:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home.Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 19, 1931 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late William "Hershel" and Maggie Elliott Joiner. Mr. Joiner was a retired Civil Service Employee, farmer and heavy equipment operator, a member of Big Rock Baptist Church, Line Port Lodge # 4730 and a veteran of the Korean war. Survivors include his wife, Virginia E. Joiner; sons, Rickie (Marcia) Joiner, Joey (Leta) Joiner, Bobby (Sabrina) Joiner; daughters, Kathy Parchman, Debra (Mike) Pope, Pamela (Rick) Holman; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronnie, Jeff and William Taylor, J.W. Elliott, Brien Dill, Evan Parchman, Kendall Joiner, and Louis Bogard.
