Thomas Heflin

Thomas H. Heflin, Jr., 82, Clarksville, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 10 am until the hour of service Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 3, 1927 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Thomas H. Heflin, Sr. and Elsie Milliken Heflin. Mr. Heflin worked for I.M. Garment Factory, Keatts Sawmill and had attended Rose Valley Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and was loved by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Carl, Billy, Maxie Heflin and sisters, Dorothy Givens, Mary Shepherd and Peggy Nell Heflin. Survivors include his sisters, Linda Vickrey, Clarksville, TN, Frances Potter, Baltimore, MD and Opal Stacey, Milledgeville, GA; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be nephews.
