Thelma Barfield

Thelma Barfield, 83 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Manor House of Dover. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Roland Marshall and Mike Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunbar Chapel Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home.
She was born September 8, 1930 in Indian Mound, TN daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Dansy Rorie McCord. Mrs. Barfield was a homemaker and a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barfield, brother, Preston McCord and sister, Frances Vincent. Survivors include her sons, Tom Barfield, Ray Barfield and Leon Barfield, all of Indian Mound, TN, Hank Barfield, Savannah, TN, daughters, Joanne Harper and Barbara Austin, both of Indian Mound, TN, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
