Tammy Duncan

Mrs. Tammy Duncan, age 65, of Dover, TN went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1960, the beloved daughter of Edwin and Lucille Coats.

Tammy loved the Lord and was an active member of Dover First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed participating in church activities and fellowship with her church family. These moments brought her great joy, comfort, and peace, knowing she was a part of God's plan for her life on earth.

Her love for her family and grandchildren brought her immense happiness. Tammy was the owner and operator of Hart's Fish Market for more than 30 years. After retirement, she became a devoted stay-at-home grandmother who took great pride in helping care for her grandchildren.

Tammy was a graduate of Stewart County High School. She shared her love and kindness with everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Coats; mother, Lucille Coats;  daughter, Samantha Duncan Carson; sister, Janet Riggins; and brothers, Darrell and Glenn Coats.

She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law; Ben and Leslie Duncan; son-in-law, Logan Carson; grandchildren; Cooper and Eli Duncan and Lucas Carson; sister, Bonnie Hinson; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home on Monday May 11, 2026 beginning at 11:00 am, continuing until the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Bro. Mathew Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are William Taylor, Wendell Taylor, Aaron Taylor, John Thomas Hinson, Shawn Seay, and Mike Pulley.
