Susie Kirkland

Susie Lee Kirkland, 90 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Signature Healthcare, Erin, TN. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Kirkland Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Ricky Kirkland and Derek Summers officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery. She was born January 24, 1924 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Walter and Ida McCord Durham. Mrs. Kirkland farmed alongside her late husband, William George Kirkland. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Donnie Kirkland and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Gary Kirkland, Indian Mound, TN, daughters, Joyce Grizzard, Indian Mound, TN and Sandra Carter, Indian Mound, TN, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
