Sue Barnes

Mrs. Sue Barnes, age 89 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Diversicare Nursing Home, Dover, TN. She was born January 5, 1933, the daughter of the late Lohman and Nancy Nance. She was a faithful servant, a member of Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church, Dover, TN. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband; E.D. Barnes, Jr., and brother; Eugene Nance.

Those left behind to cherish her memory, daughter; Susan (Ken) Rhyne, sons; Scott (Beverly) Barnes, Brad Barnes, two precious grandchildren; Elyse Rhyne and Jacob Rhyne.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 11:00 am until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church, Dover, TN. Burial will follow at the Taylors Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family has requested those attending the service to wear face mask and practice social distancing.
