Steven Wayne Parlier, Sr., age 71 of Big Rock, TN passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at St. Thomas Hospital Midtown, TN. He was born in Corbin, KY on January 3, 1953 the beloved son of the late James Helton and Bonnie Juanita Helton. Steve proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Civil Service as a Dietary Chef. Steve was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Morguson.
He is survived by his son, Steven Wayne Parlier, Jr. (Sharon); daughter, Amy Koger (Jeromy); brothers, Phillip Claxton and Lynn Helton; sisters, Michelle Tinch and Theresa Helton; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steve may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
