Steven Gray

Steven Dale Gray, age 74 passed away September 12, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born March 19, 1947 the son of the late Wilbur and Ella Mae Gray. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He retired from Trane Company and the Stewart County Sheriff Department as a patrolman. He was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War stationed in South Korea. He attended Leatherwood Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother; Orman Gray, sisters; Colleen Yoeman and Lois Wallace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn Anderson Gray, son; Greg Gray (Kristy) of Dover, TN, daughter; Christy Hayes, Humboldt, TN, grandchildren; Sara Clark, Jamey Clark, Ariana Gray and Seth Gray, sisters; Rita Hargis, Maxine Manners and Linda Hamm all of Dover, TN.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 12:00 pm until the hour of the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Hart Cemetery, Dover, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Tony Miller, Steve Anderson, Chris Hayes, Jamey Clark, Jeff Hamm and Terry Fitzhugh.
