Steven Ray Adkins, 58 of Dover, TN passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:30 am at Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. with Jeff Wallace and Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 9:30-11:30 am at Anglin Funeral Home, Inc.
He was born July 27, 1957 in Texas son of the late Greely and Dixie Schell Adkins. Mr. Adkins was an active member with Progressive Directions and Dyers Creek Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Adkins. Survivors include his brothers, Robert Adkins, Tenn. Ridge, TN and Kevin Adkins, Dover, TN. Law enforcement will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Stewart County Handicap Society, c/o PDI, 305 Church St., Dover, TN 37058.
