Ms. Shirley A. Taylor, age 86, of Dover, TN, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Paris, TN. She was born September 14, 1935 in Stewart County, TN daughter of the late Wilmer and Eva Vaughn Sykes. Ms. Taylor was a member of New Haven Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Lewis ‘Jack’ Sykes. She is survived by her son, Steven Rodger Taylor, Dover, TN, grandson, Steven Scott Taylor, great granddaughter, Clara Taylor, and her sister, Maxine Wyatt.
A graveside service will be held at Heflin Cemetery, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:00 am with Bro. Glenn Byrd officiating.
