Shirley Stoneberger

Mrs. Shirley Stoneberger, age 90, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away on December 24, 2024, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on October 3, 1934, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Donald Malcolm and Ruth Butke Waterman.

A dedicated member of Big Rock Baptist Church, Mrs. Stoneberger found a new passion in her later years for football, especially following the Tennessee Titans. She was known for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and joy in family life.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stoneberger is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Stoneberger, and her sister, Donna Reneer. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Vicars of Dover, TN; son, Michael Stoneberger of Virginia; brother, David Malcolm; and grandchildren, Michael Vicars, Daniel (Angel) Vicars, and Jacob (Erica) Vicars.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, under the direction of Short-Cunningham Funeral Home.
