Shirley Ruth Rowlett, age 72 of Dover, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday November 14, 2014 at Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Jerry Moore to officiate. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm Monday at the Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 22, 1942 in Houston County, TN, daughter of Henry Clay Burnaine and Mary Boone Burnaine Deien. Shirley owned and operated the Coffee Cup and the Confederate Cafe and was a member of the Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Andrew Rowlett, brother, Marty Lee Deien and sister, Mary Kay Schneider.
Survivors include her children, Todd Rowlett, Dover, Andy Rowlett (Pam), Woodlawn, Chad Rowlett (Lisa), Dover, Tracy Rowlett (Karen), Dover, Mary Ann Odom (Carlos), Lyles, TN, brothers, Tim Deien, IL, Marty Deien, Dover, sisters, Pam Duncan, MO, Cindy Wischmeyer, MO, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
