Shirley Lemons

Shirley Lemons, 76, Dover, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. The funeral service will be at 1:00 Tuesday at the Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Tim McDonald officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 11:00 am until the hour of service Tuesday at the Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Hildreth Cemetery. She was born December 4, 1934 in Stewart County, daughter of the late, Lewis and Clatie Nolen. Mrs. Lemons was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, John Nolen and Raymond Nolen, sisters, Edith Wallace and Faye Anderson, and a grandson, ChazFeathers. Survivors include her husband, Reams Lemons, children, Donnie (Linda) Lemons, Brenda (Terry) Barrett, Cindy Zellers, Bill (Kim) Lemons, and Jerry Lemons, all of Dover, sisters, Irene Cook, Dover, and Olene VanZant, FL, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
