Sharon Thompson

Ms. Sharon Thompson, age 67 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2023 at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born on January 24, 1956 the beloved daughter of the late Ray and Linda DeMoss Turner. Sharon worked many years as manager at the Kmart in Nashville, TN and was a devoted mother and homemaker. She enjoyed riding around the countryside, fishing and camping. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Nashville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee Thompson, brother, Jacob Turner and brother-in-law, Ron Hawkins.

Sharon leaves behind her loving family, sons, Frankie Thompson (Josie), Terry Thompson (Angela), daughters; Amanda Kay Correll (Clarence), Tina Bass (Eddie); brothers, Randy Turner (Debra), Jeff Turner (Lori), Carlton Turner (Lisa) Doug Turner (Jeanna), sisters; Ella Rainbolt (Mark), May Hawkins, Sherry Nash (Jeff) grandchildren; Jessika Thompson, Destiny Thompson, Jacob Correll, Caleb Correll, Roy Caley III, Travis Caley, Tommy Caley, Brittany Caley, Kaylee Thompson and Addy Thompson and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at Turner Cemetery, Pegram, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
