Shane Wallace, age 47, of Dover, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Born October 23, 1977, in Clarksville, TN, Shane was the beloved son of Roger Dale Wallace and Janice Eve Hester. He lived a life full of heart, grit, and a deep love for his family.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Shane found peace in the woods and on the water. Whether he was deer hunting in the fall or fishing, the outdoors is where he felt most at home. A skilled towboat captain, he not only worked the river with steady hands, but also didn’t hesitate to help others—going so far as to rescue boaters more than once.
Shane had a deep love for country music and could often be found picking his guitar. He was a proud fan of the Tennessee Vols, always cheering on the Big Orange.
But more than anything, Shane was a devoted husband and loving father. His greatest pride was his family, and he poured his heart into raising his children with the same passion and strength that defined his life.
He is survived by his parents, Roger Dale Wallace (Mary) and Janice Eve Hester (Ken); his wife, Chelsea Leeann Wallace; and his children, Tristan Wallace, Lindsey Wallace, and Kane Wallace. He also leaves behind his brother, Todd Keith Wallace (Missy), and sister, Nikki Judd (Cliff).
Visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, and again on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Randy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Valley Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN.
