Sarah Singer

Sarah Singer, age 80, of Stewart, TN, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Murray Calloway County Hospital, Murray, KY. The funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 19, at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, Nashville, TN, with Father Jerry Strange officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, TN. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm on Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home with a rosary service beginning at 5:00 pm. Visitation will also be from 11:00 am until the time of mass Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Nashville, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 25, 1935 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Eugene and Lucille Fortner Howse. Sarah was a retired loan officer for First American Bank in Nashville, TN. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Mrs. Singer is survived by her husband, Eugene Singer, of Stewart, daughter, Cathy Singer, of Stewart, grandchildren, Danny Thompson, Amanda Presley, Savannah Keef, Loman Keef, and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Bush.
