Sandra Earhart

Sandra ‘Sandy’ Earhart, age 66, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 16, 1958, to Clayton Earhart and Louise Atkins McGovern. Sandy was a dedicated bank clerk until her retirement, and she took great pride in her work. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary and AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She deeply loved her family and cherished spending time with them. Her family was her greatest joy, and she will be remembered for her loving and caring nature.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Earhart and Louise McGovern; her son, Wesley Page and step-father, Billy McGovern.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Surtees; daughters, Aniese Lindsey (David) and Crystal Richardson (Chaz); brothers, J.R., Brent, and Landon Earhart; sisters, Penny Nichols (Carlos) and Amanda Earhart; grandchildren, Kayla Chadwick, Sean Young, Jordyn Young, Kaden Compton, Alyssa Richardson, Nathan Surface, Maci Richardson and Jensen Richardson; as well as aunts, Ruth Cherry and Pat Hicks.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, TN. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, with the funeral service following at 1:00 pm with Bro. Mark Porter officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
