Samuel Keatts

Samuel Preston Keatts, 74 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1943 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Billy Preston Keatts and Annie May Gafford Keatts. Mr. Keatts was a retired machine operator, maintenance supervisor, maintenance engineer at Bardcor Corp., and a farmer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother. Survivors include his wife, Joan Birk Keatts, Indian Mound, TN, sons, Billy Franklin Keatts(Karen), Vine Grove, KY, Sammy James Keatts, Big Rock, TN, grandson, Samuel Keatts, step-sons, John Duhigg, Mesa, AZ, David Duhigg, Phoenix, AZ, step-daughter, Laura Duhigg, Omaha, NE, sisters, Peggy Odom, Indian Mound, TN, Bonnie Shepherd (Maxwell), Indian Mound, TN, June Wiggins (JC), Antioch, TN, Maxine Neighbors, Antioch, TN, Darlene Crockarell (Ronnie Crockarell), Indian Mound, TN, brothers, Jerry Keatts, Ft. Wayne, IN, Marshall Dean Keatts(Pattie), Dotsonville, TN and Billy Ray Keatts(Wanda), Clarksville, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5-8:00 pm and on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ray Richardson, Carlos Nicholes, Earl Ray Keatts, Carlos Lewis, Devert Rollins, and Sammy James Keatts. Arrangements are entrusted with Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
