Sadie Marie Bogard, 97, Clarksville, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Ricky Conger officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 pm Monday and from 12:00-2:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 28, 1913 in Stewart County, daughter of Nathan Green and Vadie Shelton Ezell. Mrs. Bogard was a homemaker and attended the Freewill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Bogard, daughter, Jeanette Spainhoward, six sisters, and four brothers. Survivors include her children, Jewel (Erle) Butts, Charles (Barbara) Bogard, brother, Pete Ezell, eight grandchildren, 24 great grandhcildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Glenn Bogard, Jeff Bogard, John Mutters, Chad Mutters, Todd Butts, and James Roberson. Daniel Bogard will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
