Ruth Wright

Ruth Griffin Wright, age 84, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 22, 2011. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with Bro. Terry Welsh officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Carr Cemetery, Ft. Campbell, KY. Mrs. Wright was born on January 22, 1927 to Willie and Lillie Scott Griffin. She was a housewife and retired postmaster. She was a member of the Brandon's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Neil (Annette) Wright, Bumpus Mills, daughter, Diane Wright, Franklin, TN, grandchildren, Amy Wright Slone, Cadiz, Brian Wright, Bumpus Mills, four great grandchildren, sister, Lois Durisko, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright, brother, Millard Griffin, sisters Lucy Howell, Tishie King, Marie Griffin, Bea Bremer, and Elizabeth Mathis. Pallbearers will be Brian Wright, Brandon Slone, Gary Wallace, Hulan Pryor, Tom Howell, and J.D. Howell.
